A lot of us know about the SIM registration policy in accordance with the NCC directives. The entire mobile network Providers including MTN are not taking this new process unserious. MTN has provided a quick and free medium for one to confirm if s/he had at sometime registered his/her SIM or if the former registration he carried out was duly registered on the MTN database.

Doing this confirmation process isn’t complex or difficult at all but quite the opposite. MTN provided an SMS platform that is free, fast and efficient.

How to check/confirm if your MTN SIM is registered

Simply text REG to 746 and wait for the automated confirmation SMS to be sent to you by the MTN REG System. The follow up message will tell you in simple words if your Mobile number was duly registered by MTN or not.
