The Otukpo based Joy FM owned by the Senator David Mark has commenced a 24 hour broadcast in their rehabilitated station Joy FM 96.5

Reacting to this,

one of the radio station presenters boasted yesterday that “Joy FM starts business when other stations are sleeping”

For the first time, the radio station broadcasted for 24 hours yesterday 21/1/2013. I confirmed this with my radio and they truly transmitted for a whole and there seems to be no going back.

Joy FM is the first private Radio in the 6 states of the North Central Geo-political zone. Presently Joy FM is the only station in Benue and Kogi States that operates for 24 hours
